8 min readEvery publisher has different goals. Some want to publish a single tour and start selling. Others are building a library of tours at scale. Our plans are designed to match where you are and where you want to go, from free to get started to full-service support for high-volume publishers. You can get started at no cost on the Basic Plan, or choose from our Priority, Pro, and Premium paid plans, available on monthly or annual subscriptions.
Basic Plan
The Basic Plan gives you everything you need to create and sell a tour on VoiceMap with no upfront costs.
Tour creation
You'll have access to MapMaker (our CMS), plus dedicated support from a tour editor and audio engineer. This includes a MapMaker onboarding call, map review, script review and editing, image editing, audio clean-up, cover image sourcing, and SEO optimisation for your tour's title and description. Script editing has a 7-day response time. Limited sound design is available.
Distribution and promotion
Your tour sells through VoiceMap's app and website. Every publisher has access to QR codes, a short URL, a promotional design template pack, keyword research, and a group marketing consultation. A Viator/TripAdvisor listing is available as a paid add-on ($29).
You can also distribute your tour privately using voucher codes. Download credits cost $2 each, with 10 credits included per published tour.

Priority: $29/month or $290/year
The Priority Plan adds faster turnaround, more hands-on production support, and reseller distribution.
Tour creation
All of the benefits of the Basic Plan, plus:
- Priority publisher support
- 3-day script and audio editing response time (vs 7 days on the Basic Plan)
- Sound design: sound effects (SFX)
- Music locations

Your tour is listed on Viator and TripAdvisor (included in the plan). Download credits cost $0.89 each, with 10 credits included per published tour.

Pro: $62/month or $620/year
The Pro Plan is for publishers who want to offer free tours, distribute at scale through their own channels, or work on multiple tours at once.
Tour creation
All of the benefits of the Priority Plan, plus:
- Work on up to 3 tours simultaneously
- Publish free tours (publicly or privately)
- Sound design: sound effects and music
- Augmented and virtual reality features: AR menus, AR objects, 360° videos
Distribution and promotion
Your tour is listed on our extended reseller network: Viator, TripAdvisor, Klook, Musement. Private distribution is available for tours distributed to groups or organisations.
You receive 100 download credits per month (1,000/year on an annual plan) as part of the plan. You can purchase additional credits at $0.62 per credit.
The plan also includes a one-on-one marketing consultation with the VoiceMap team and a social media launch post for your tour.
Analytics
Custom reporting is available on request.
Premium: $157/month or $1,570/year
The Premium Plan is built for publishers producing tours at institutional scale.
Tour creation
All of the benefits of the Pro Plan, plus you can work on up to 5 tours simultaneously
Distribution and promotion
You receive 500 download credits per month (5,000/year on an annual plan) as part of the plan. You can purchase additional credits at $0.31 per credit.
The plan also includes a one-on-one marketing consultation with the VoiceMap team and a social media launch post for your tour.
Analytics
Custom reporting is available on request.
Which plan is right for me?
- Choose the Basic Plan if you want to create and sell a tour without any upfront costs. You get full editorial support and everything you need to sell through VoiceMap's app and website, with no subscription fee. If you'd like more from the start, you can sign up for any of our paid plans at any time.
- Choose the Priority Plan if you want faster editing turnaround, more hands-on help with your route, script, and sound design, and your tour listed on Viator and TripAdvisor. It's the right step up if you're serious about the quality of your tour and want to get to market faster.
- Choose the Pro Plan if you want to distribute your tours through your own channels at scale, offer free tours, or work on multiple tours at once. The Pro Plan gives you access to private distribution, our extended reseller network, and customised reporting, making it the right choice if publishing is a meaningful part of your business.
- Choose the Premium Plan if you're producing tours at volume and need maximum credits, the ability to work on up to five tours simultaneously. gives you access to private distribution, our extended reseller network, and customised reporting. Frequently asked questions
How do I manage my plan? You can view and manage your plan at any time from your publisher dashboard. If you don't have an account yet, visit voicemap.me/pricing and click the button for the plan you'd like. You'll be prompted to create an account or log in. Once logged in, select your plan, choose monthly or annual billing, and complete your payment details.
Can I switch plans? Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your publisher dashboard. You'll see your current plan displayed at the top. To upgrade or downgrade, select your new plan from the options displayed. Upgrades are prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. To cancel, select Basic. Your paid plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
Can I publish a tour without paying anything? Yes. The Basic Plan is free. You can create, edit, and sell a tour through VoiceMap's app and website at no upfront cost.
What's the difference between basic and priority editing? Both include full script and audio editing from a VoiceMap editor. Priority editing means your submissions go to the top of the queue, with a 3-day response time (vs 7 days on the Basic Plan).
How do download credits work? Each credit covers one free or voucher download of a tour. Credits are used when someone downloads a free copy of your tour or when you sell your tours through your own channels, like your own website. They are not used when a listener pays for a tour directly through the app, website, or a reseller. Credits included in annual plans expire after 12 months; credits on monthly plans expire after 90 days. You can track your credit balance and buy additional credits through your publisher dashboard.
What's the difference between paid, voucher, and free distribution?
- Paid: listeners purchase the tour directly through the VoiceMap apps, website, or a reseller.
- Voucher: you distribute a code that gives a listener access to the tour, using one download credit per redemption. There is no royalty split on voucher sales.
- Free: the tour is available to download at no cost, using one download credit per download. Requires a Pro or Premium Plan.
What are private tours? A private tour isn't listed publicly on VoiceMap's app or website and can't be found through search. It's only accessible with a specific URL or voucher code. Private distribution requires a Pro or Premium Plan.
What happens if I run out of download credits on a free tour? When you publish a free tour you set a fallback price. If your credits run out before your plan renews, the tour reverts to that price. You can also purchase additional credits through your dashboard at any time.
